Presented a paper entitled “Prayer and Tears against Dryness in Humanity: Watchman Nee and Jing Dianying’s Spiritualities and Their Interaction with China’s Spirit World” at this year’s SPS conference.

Nee writes poetically: “If our prayers are seasoned with tears, they will be answered much sooner. Many prayers are heartless prayers because there are no tears in them.“

Jing, the founder of the Jesus Family movement, states, “Prayer without tears is dry!”
