My name is Dr. Jacob Chengwei Feng. I am a theologian, educator, and writer.

After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Physics, I came to the United States to pursue my Ph.D. in Physics. After graduating with a master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, I worked in financial institutions on Wall Street in New York City for eight years. Then, upon God’s calling, I resigned from my job to serve as a full-time minister in my church. After finishing a one-year Bible school, I attended Fuller Theological Seminary from 2009-2012 and obtained Master’s Degree in Theological Studies. After eight years of full-time ecclesial service in the churches across New Jersey, California, and Singapore, I went on to pursue my Ph.D. in Theological Studies at Fuller Theological Seminary from 2020-2024.

Currently, I am teaching, writing, churching, while living with my wife and college-age daughter in Southern California.
