Welcome

My name is Dr. Jacob Chengwei Feng. I am a theologian, educator, and writer.

After a bachelor’s degree in Engineering Physics, I came to the United States to pursue a PhD in Physics; I earned a master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and then worked in financial institutions on Wall Street in New York City for eight years. Responding to God’s calling, I resigned to serve as a full-time minister. After a year of Bible school, I studied at Fuller Theological Seminary from 2009 to 2012, earning a master’s degree in Theological Studies. Following eight years of full-time ecclesial service in churches across New Jersey, California, and Singapore, I returned to Fuller for a PhD in Theological Studies (2020–2024).

I now teach, write, and serve the church while living with my wife and college-age daughter in Southern California.
